Please be advised the the announced triple title release called: New York Grindhouse Avon 7, containing Slave of Pleasure, My Mistress Electra, and Prisoner of Pleasure is illegal. I hold the copyrights on Slave of Pleasure and Prisoner of Pleasure. Alternative Cinema Inc/After Hours Cinema LLC has been served a cease and desist notice regarding their attempt at an illegal release. I sent three e-mails to Mike Raso at the aforementioned companies, notifying him of my rights of both copyright, and privacy. These e-mails have gone unanswered, as has the cease and desist notice. Please do not support this illegal release. Mr Raso simply found a 16Mm print, and never checked the copyright. He also did not ask me to write the liner notes, an agreed servive I performed for him in the past, for compensation. Millions of dollares have been made by many people on the illegal sale of my titles, without and offer of payment to me. This is just another example.

Hm, that's some interesting feedback re: LDL. It felt like an unpleasant film, from the tone, but you can never tell what it's like for those who are there. Interestingly, it was the BDSM scene that grossed me out the most, not because I have a problem with BDSM but because the sub (not Serena, the other one) bothered me. Oh, and good luck on your goal -- I can be honest with myself and say I'll never achieve near that many posts!

I remember being really put off by 800 Fantasy Lane. Well after I saw it, I read an interview with LDL in which she cited that production as one of her worst experiences. The specifics escape me, but as I recall, she said she was sick, the house was freezing, and she was treated overly roughly by Jamie Gillis. (If I'm not mistaken, during the lion tamer scene.)

I considered revisiting the film - I'm going to have my 2011 work cut out for me if I still hope to satisfy my stupid "100 reviews" goal... - but now I'm pretty sure I'll let that dog lie.

I half-watched that scene. I'm not sure if I entirely like either of them, though I did used to like Alexis a lot. I think my enjoyment of scenes is affected so much by the male performer (as in, *as much* as the other performer :), that I go back and forth on these things. I can think I'm a fan of a star, only to find out it was just when she was with a particular person.

As for mediocrity/formulaic porn, your comment reminds me of an interview on one of the Wildside releases (I think it was on the Desires Within Young Girls dvd). It was a bunch of interviews with male performers, including John Leslie, and the things he had to say were really quite moving in a sad sort of way. His comments reflected quite a bit of disillusionment with the current state of things, and he appeared to get a little choked up/upset.

I also liked the Alexis Texas/Erik Everhard scene in Bombshells 2. As you say, I'm a fan of Alexis so that may bias me (but then I'm not particularly a fan of Erik), but I think this is the best scene her and Everhard have done together.

I particularly like the part where Erik gives her oral sex and they spend some time just masturbating each other in between the fucking, it's a nice change of pace and feels spontaneous. Shows you just how formulaic so much gonzo porn has become that this is so refreshing.
